Dr N. Al-Naser
General Practitioner (VR) MB ChB, FRACGP
Dr Al-Naser has 15 years experience in private practice and as an international health consultant. He has worked as a psychiatric registrar and has a special interest in treating mental health issues. Dr. Al-Naser has completed a certificate in primary skin cancer surgery, which he adds to his experience in minor surgeries which includes the removal of benign cysts and circumcision. Dr Al-Naser speaks English and Arabic.
Dr Tom Johnston GP
Dr Johnston was born and raised in Germany. He always had close family ties in Australia and attended school in Ballarat, Victoria for several years.
Dr Johnston completed his medical studies in Germany and completed five years of post graduate training before opening his own family practice as a GP. The practice was situated in Borken a rural town close to the Dutch border. From 2004 he was also worked as an out of hour's doctor in the UK. In 2008 Dr Johnston moved to Canberra to join Conder Surgery.
His special interests are: mental disorders affecting patients of all ages; pain management; allergy treatment and travel medicine.
Dr Ademolla Davies – Hakeem GP
Dr Davies - Hakeem graduated from the College of Medicine University of Lagos in October 1991. He completed his internship and mandatory National Youth Service and emigrated to South Africa in 1993. Dr Davies - Hakeem has worked for companies as an Academic GP in the Departments of Surgery, Orthopaedics, Plastic Surgery & Interim Care before starting his private General Practice in 2000. Dr Davies completed a Masters Degree in Pharmacology at the University of Pretoria in South Africa. Dr Davies - Hakeem arrived in Canberra in June of 2008 and has been with us at the Conder Surgery since. Dr Davies is happily married with 3 children.
Dr Michael Drane

Michael grew up with aeroplanes - his father is an aeronautical engineer. He gained his private pilot's licence on leaving school, and trained as a General Practitioner in the UK. He emigrated to New Zealand working as a GP in a beautiful part of the world! He was an Aviation Medical Examiner, and Fellow of Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners. In 2007, he moved to Dubai to work for Emirates Airlines as a GP and Aviation Medicine specialist, but in 2009, was offered a position in Canberra with the Civil Aviation Safety Authority, and is now involved in assessing pilots and air traffic controllers.
He has a Masters in Aviation Medicine and is currently studying for his Fellowship in Occupational Medicine. For relaxation (!) he enjoys the company of his wife and three children (when they are at home), church, loud organ music, chocolate and skiing.
Dr Svitlana Saburova
Dr. Saburova is a General Practitioner and has a special interest in Women's and Children's Health. She speaks fluent English, Russian, Ukrainian, Hindi and Urdu.
Dr Gamal Helmy
General Practitioner (VR) MBBCH, FACRRM
Dr Helmy graduated in 1981 from ‘La Sapienza' University ( Rome , Italy ) and holds a Masters degree in Cardiology and Vascular Diseases from Zagazig University ( Egypt ) . He completed residency in Italy and Egypt and is a Fellow of the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine.
With nearly 30 years experience as a medical practitioner overseas and in Australia, Dr Helmy has had extensive experience as a GP as well as senior staff specialist in Coronary and Intensive Care at the ‘Umberto I' Italian Hospital in Cairo (Egypt) with specialisation in electrophysiology and pacemakers.
Since moving to Australia with his family in 1993, Dr Helmy has worked as a medical registrar in all sub-specialties of medicine in VIC, NSW and the ACT and is currently pursuing specialisation in rehabilitation medicine.
Special interests are general medicine, cardiology, rehabilitation and geriatric medicine.
Dr Helmy speaks English, Italian and Arabic.
